Alexandros Grant Michaelides was born in Oxford in 1983 and was raised in Cyprus. He studied Fine Art first at Camberwell College of Arts (2004-2005) and then at Middlesex University (2005-2008). He obtained his Master’s degree, with a specialization in oil painting from Canterbury Christ Church University (2011-2012). He also received his PGCEi teaching certificate from the University of Nottingham in 2017. He currently resides in Nicosia, where he works as an artist and as an art teacher. He has participated in group exhibitions in Cyprus, the UK and Finland, and has held a number of solo exhibitions in Cyprus.
