Christos was born in Kissonerga in 1944. He studied art at the Surikov Art Institute in Moscow (1970–1976). For the first two years he studied art in a workshop and over the following four years he specialised in monumental art.
In 1976 he was awarded a Master of Arts. He has presented his work in solo exhibitions in Moscow in 1972, at the “Ora” gallery in Athens in 1976, at the Municipal Spiritual Centre in Syros in 1977, at the “Zygos” gallery in Nicosia in 1979, at the “Kyklos” gallery in Paphos in 1980, 1981, 1983 and 1990, at the “Apokalipsi” gallery in Nicosia in 1994, at the “Kypriaki Gonia” gallery in Larnaca in 1997, at the “Melina Merkouri Hall” in Nicosia in 1998, at the “Gloria” gallery in Nicosia in 2011 and has presented works in group exhibitions in Thessaloniki, Budapest, Moscow, the Triennale in New Delhi in 1991, the Commonwealth Institute in London in 1991 and at the Biennale in Cairo in 1996.
