SILIA PHILIPPOU

Silia Philippou studied at the 'Vacalo' school of fine Arts Athens (1977-80) followed by a BA in painting at the National School of Fine Arts Athens (1984-89). She was then appointed as a secondary education tutor of Art (1990-2011). She is a Member of EETE (Greek Visual Arts Centre), Greek Art Subjects Teachers Union, EKATE (Cyprus Chamber of Fine Arts) and EIKA (Cypriot Artists Union). 

Silia Philippou has participated in numerous group exhibitions and 5 solo exhibitions. Her work can be found in public and private collections in Cyprus and abroad.

Views and Opinions is a painting exhibition by Silia Philippou. It is the artist's fifth solo exhibition at Gloria Gallery. April 4-19, 2019
